He highlighted Egypt’s interest in increasing trade with Angola and noted that the government encourages Egyptian businesses and companies to enter the Angolan market in a strong and sustained manner, building on existing partnerships.

The minister also affirmed Egypt’s interest in exploring opportunities in infrastructure, energy, and telecommunications, emphasizing the expertise of leading Egyptian companies in executing major projects across Africa.

Abdelatty commended Angola’s active role during its African Union presidency, noting its efforts in advancing joint continental action amid rising challenges in peace, security, and development.

The call also touched on preparations for the Africa–Europe Summit scheduled for 24–25 November in Luanda.

Both ministers stressed the importance of ensuring the summit’s success and achieving outcomes that benefit the African continent, particularly in areas of peace and security, counterterrorism, and sustainable development.
