WAFA said the elderly woman and her son were shot in Zeitoun and transferred to Ahli Arab (Al-Ahli Baptist) Hospital.
Medical sources reported that nine bodies reached Gaza hospitals on Saturday, including three people killed in Beit Lahiya, one in Jabalia, and two from Zeitoun. Another person died of earlier wounds, while two bodies were pulled from rubble.
Local sources said Israeli occupation forces also demolished several buildings and facilities in the Shujaiya neighbourhood, east of Gaza City.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has killed 70,354 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and wounded 171,030 others, with hundreds trapped beneath destroyed buildings, rescue crews unable to reach them.
In the past 24 hours, hospitals received six bodies—one newly killed and five recovered—along with 15 wounded.
Since the latest ceasefire agreement on 10 October—brokered by Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the US—Israel has killed 367 Palestinians, wounded 953, and 624 additional bodies have been retrieved, per the ministry.
