A Foreign Ministry readout said the two discussed the Egypt–US partnership and ongoing coordination on regional stability.

Abdelatty outlined Egypt’s current diplomatic efforts to advance implementation of President Trump’s plan and the Sharm El-Sheikh Agreement. He repeated Egypt’s call for international pressure to ensure the execution of United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2803, including the rapid deployment of an International Stabilization Force (ISF) in Gaza.

He also stressed the need to move ahead with forming a Palestinian technocratic committee to administer Gaza as part of the next phase of the agreement.

Abdelatty said humanitarian access to Gaza must be guaranteed as conditions worsen, adding that reconstruction of essential infrastructure is urgently needed.

He reaffirmed Egypt’s position that a lasting settlement requires a two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967, borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Isaacson, according to the ministry, praised Egypt’s efforts to maintain the ceasefire and its wider role in regional security.
