During the meeting, Abdelatty highlighted the importance of building on the current momentum in Egyptian-Polish relations and strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation in a way that serves the mutual interests of both peoples.
The two ministers exchanged views on several pressing regional and international developments, foremost among them the situation in the Gaza Strip. Abdelatty reviewed Egypt’s ongoing efforts to consolidate a ceasefire, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid, and advance plans for early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza.
Discussions also covered developments in Sudan, with Abdelatty stressing the importance of an immediate ceasefire, preserving Sudan’s unity, and supporting its national institutions.
On the Ukraine crisis, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s support for diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching peaceful solutions, underlining the need to enhance regional and international stability through dialogue and political settlements.
