In its report, the ministry stated that since the ceasefire on 11 October, Israeli fire has killed 393 people, injured 1,074, and resulted in the recovery of 634 bodies, according to the Palestinian Press Agency (SAFA).

The ministry also reported that the total number of casualties from the Israeli attacks has reached 70,667 martyrs and 171,151 injured since the conflict in Gaza began on 7 October 2023.

SAFA further cited the Ministry as saying that several victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defence teams have been unable to reach them.

In a related development, the ministry announced the death of a two-week-old infant, Mohammed Khalil Abu al-Khair, from severe hypothermia caused by extreme cold.

He had been admitted to the hospital two days earlier and placed in intensive care, but died on Monday.
