Medical sources said Ayyoub Abed Ayesh Nasr was killed and two others were injured after Israeli forces opened fire on a group of civilians in the Al-Jarn area of Jabalia Al-Balad in northern Gaza.

In a separate incident in the south, medical officials confirmed that three Palestinians were wounded by Israeli fire east of Khan Younis.

The incidents come amid repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire brokered in October by Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, and the United States.

Since the truce took effect, Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 404 Palestinians and wounded 1,108 others, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

On Tuesday, the ministry said the overall death toll from Israel's genocidal war on Gaza has exceeded 70,942, with more than 171,195 people wounded since October 2023. Women and children account for most of the casualties, it added.

Humanitarian conditions in Gaza continue to worsen as Israeli forces maintain strict restrictions on the entry of aid, fuel, and winter supplies for the territory’s 2.3 million residents, in violation of the ceasefire.
