Access to the marathon will be through Entrance 1 of Sheikh Zayed City, coming from Hyper One via Al-Nozha Street, according to organizers.

Participants have been advised to use buses instead of private cars due to the minimal parking available.

A designated parking area for buses has been set up on Al-Nozha Street in the Green Revolution (Al-Thawra Al-Khadraa) area, opposite Al-Rabwa Resort.

Buses will drop participants at the arrival and assembly point on Al-Salam Street, before Al-Rabwa Resort, and then proceed to the parking area.

The race-day schedule is as follows: arrival at 5am, entry to the starting corrals at 6:30am, the start of the able-bodied race at 7am, and the start of the race for People of Determination at 7:20am.

Timing will be recorded electronically, and participants have been asked to avoid overcrowding.

Restrooms and baggage storage will be available at the arrival area before lining up. Organizers said baggage storage is limited to bags only and advised participants to keep mobile phones and personal valuables with them.

On race day, awards will be given only to first-place finishers. Prizes will be awarded to the top three men and women in the able-bodied race and to the top two finishers in each of the two People of Determination categories.

Final results will be reviewed by the organizing committee using finish-line cameras and the electronic timing system. Full results will be announced two weeks after the race.

Remaining prizes for Egyptian participants will be sent by post after the results are confirmed.

Organizers called on all participants to follow instructions issued by the race committee and the Giza Traffic Department, stressing that compliance is essential for a safe and well-organized event.

The ninth edition of the Zayed Charity Marathon, held in the New Capital last December, attracted more than 50,000 runners of different age groups. Participants competed along a 10-kilometre route stretching from the Iconic Tower to Al-Fattah Al-Aleem Mosque.

That edition offered total prizes worth EGP 20 million, in addition to 200 double Umrah trips, with all proceeds allocated to the 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital in Cairo, in line with the marathon’s charitable goals.

The first edition of the marathon raised $15.8 million, which was allocated to the hospital’s initial construction phase.
