Egypt, Greece FMs discuss bilateral relations and regional developments

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Greek counterpart, George Gerapetritis, reviewed bilateral issues and exchanged views on regional developments during a phone call on Wednesday.

A statement by the Greek foreign ministry noted that both minister expressed their willingness to strengthen and broaden bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.

Additionally, they discussed the trilateral cooperation framework linking Greece, Cyprus and Egypt, the statement pointed out.

Abdelatty and Gerapetritis stressed the importance of convening a Trilateral Ministerial Meeting in the near future to address regional developments, including those in the Eastern Mediterranean.
