A statement by the Greek foreign ministry noted that both minister expressed their willingness to strengthen and broaden bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.
Additionally, they discussed the trilateral cooperation framework linking Greece, Cyprus and Egypt, the statement pointed out.
Abdelatty and Gerapetritis stressed the importance of convening a Trilateral Ministerial Meeting in the near future to address regional developments, including those in the Eastern Mediterranean.
