During the visit, Jolie checked on the conditions of several injured Palestinians who are receiving medical treatment in cooperation with the International Network for Aid, Relief, and Assistance (INARA) NGO in Egypt.
The former UN Special Envoy for Refugees visited Rafah and Al-Arish on Friday to assess the condition of injured Palestinians transferred to Egypt for treatment and to receive an update on aid deliveries into Gaza.
During her visit, Jolie, 50, said she was "honoured" to meet aid volunteers at the crossing and reaffirmed her full support for meeting the needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza who are facing dire humanitarian conditions.
