The Last Round play, produced by the Alexandria Theatere Company, will inaugurate the "100-Night Show" initiative launched by The Artistic House of Theatre. Alexandria will host a diverse selection of theatrical performances as part of the initiative. The Lycee El Horreya Theatre is preparing to launch the performances, with each show running for ten consecutive nights beginning with The Last Round. The play is set during the Great Depression in the United States, depicting the suffering of the poor and their pursuit of hope amidst suffocating economic crises, in a humanistic portrayal that reflects the struggle for survival and the clinging to dreams. The show stars Abdel Rahman Mustafa, Manar El Badry, Mohamed Khaled, Dalia Samir, Ahmed Siam, and Ziad Reda. Poetry: Anas Al Nili, music and composition by Youssef El Haddad, choreography by Mohamed Mizo, makeup by Alaa Sami, lighting by Ibrahim Hassan, set and costumed design by Mohamed El Barshoumi, costume execution by Shaimaa Mokhtar, executive director by Akram Naguib, written and directed by Ibrahim Hassan
(Performances will run until 10 January, 8.30pm).
