The arrival follows Wednesday's agreement among Palestinian factions in Cairo to form the committee. It also comes as US Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff announced the start of the ceasefire agreement's second phase.
Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, the three mediators, welcomed the committee's formation in a joint statement, saying it would help pave the way for implementing the second phase of the ceasefire.
The mediators described the agreement as aimed at preventing renewed fighting and stabilizing the truce. They called on all parties to fully adhere to the ceasefire, saying sustained compliance is necessary to achieve a lasting peace and create conditions for Gaza's reconstruction.
The committee will coordinate with an international Peace Council and an affiliated executive body tasked with overseeing reconstruction funding and project implementation.
The second phase of the ceasefire includes expanded humanitarian access, Israeli withdrawal, and longer-term political arrangements for Gaza.
