The 25-year-old will join Masry on a one-and-a-half-year deal, that will keep him at the coastal side until the end of the 2026/2027 season.
“From Cairo Tower to the valiant streets of Port Said… Mostafa El-Esh to the Green Eagles,” Masry said in their official announcement on social media.
The versatile defender, who can play as both a centre-back and left-back, departs Ahly after just one season.
El-Esh joined Ahly on a permanent deal in January 2025 from ZED FC, signing a four-year contract, following an impressive six-month loan spell with the Red Devils, during which he featured at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The former Ghazl El-Mahalla defender made 21 appearances for Ahly in all competitions, registering one assist.
El-Esh becomes Masry's third signing of the winter transfer window, following the acquisition of Moroccan midfielder Oussama Zemraoui from Wydad Casablanca and Jordanian midfielder Ameed Sawafta from Al-Salt.
