Among the dead were a man and his 13-year-old son, along with a 22-year-old man, who were shot while collecting firewood on the eastern edge of the central Bureij refugee camp, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said.
The hospital said Israeli drones had fired on the men.
Another 13-year-old boy was shot and killed by troops — also while collecting firewood — in the eastern town of Bani Suhaila, the Nasser hospital said, which received the body.
Most of Gaza’s population depends on firewood for cooking and heat as the strip experiences a cold, wet winter amid Israeli ongoing restrictions on aid entry into the Strip.
In footage circulated online, the boy’s father was seen weeping over his son’s body on a hospital bed.
Nasser said it also received the body of a woman shot by Israeli troops in the Muwasi area of the southern city of Khan Younis. The hospital said she was killed in an area not controlled by the military.
Later on Wednesday, Gaza's civil defence agency said an Israeli strike in the centre of the territory killed three journalists, including a freelancer who previously worked for AFP, in another Israeli violation of the ceasefire agreement.
In a statement, the civil defence said "the bodies of the three journalists killed in an Israeli air strike in the Al-Zahra area southwest of Gaza City were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah".
It named the dead as Mohammed Salah Qashta, Abdul Raouf Shaath, and Anas Ghneim. Shaath previously worked for AFP as a photo and video journalist.
Palestinian media reports noted that the three journalists were working with the Egyptian Committee for Gaza Relief and were killed while carrying out a filming mission at the committee’s camps.
Since the ceasefire started in October, more than 460 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli fire, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
