In a joint statement, the ministers said their countries had agreed in principle to join the board, adding that each state would complete the necessary legal and procedural steps to formalise participation.

Egypt, the UAE, and Pakistan have already announced their decision to join, the statement said.

The ministers expressed support for peace efforts led by Trump and reaffirmed their commitment to backing the mandate of the Board of Peace as a transitional administration under a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza war.

They said the plan, endorsed by United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution 2803, aims to consolidate a permanent ceasefire, support Gaza’s reconstruction, and advance a “just and lasting peace” based on Palestinian self-determination and statehood in line with international law.

The statement added that these steps were intended to pave the way for long-term security and stability for the region.
