The convoy carried more than 4,330 tonnes of food parcels and flour, over 1,640 tonnes of medical and relief supplies, and around 1,580 tonnes of petroleum products to meet urgent needs inside Gaza, according to an ERC statement.
With winter conditions worsening, the ERC stated that the shipment also included seasonal relief items, among them more than 19,950 pieces of winter clothing, 22,880 blankets, 400 mattresses, and 1,000 tents for displaced families.
Egypt has delivered over 800,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Gaza over more than 760 consecutive days, according to official figures. Most assistance has entered through the Rafah and Karm Abu Salem crossings.
The operation has involved coordination with 59 countries. It included 943 humanitarian relief flights and 617 maritime aid shipments, processed through a nationwide logistics network managed by the ERC and supported by over 65,000 volunteers.
The ERC launched the Zad El-Ezza initiative on 27 July 2025 to deliver urgent aid following five months of an Israeli land, sea, and air blockade on Gaza, which directly caused the first-ever United Nations-declared famine in the Middle East in the strip. Since then, the convoys have transported food, flour, infant formula, medical supplies, fuel, tents, and winter aid.
Egypt has also facilitated the entry of 214 ambulances, supplied around 91,000 tonnes of fuel, and coordinated the operation of four field hospitals inside Gaza, alongside the provision of cash assistance, medical care, and family-link restoration services for evacuees.
Separately, the Egyptian Committee for Gaza Relief issued an advisory to the Palestinians in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, as well as those forcibly displaced to the south, including Khan Younis, regarding food aid distribution.
In a statement, the committee said beneficiaries who received text messages directing them to collect food parcels in southern Gaza while they remain displaced in central or northern areas may change their designated collection point by updating their registration through an online form.
The committee noted that some displacement areas currently lack nearby distribution points, urging beneficiaries to select approved centres in Gaza, North Gaza, or Khan Younis governorates. It said further updates would be communicated through the same registration platform.
