The three-day event is expected to bring together between 35,000 and 40,000 participants, alongside more than 400 speakers and 300 startups from Egypt and abroad, focusing on innovation, collaboration and technology-driven growth.

As part of the partnership, DiDi Egypt officials will take part in summit discussions on digital transformation and sustainable urban mobility. Mohamed Helmy, External Affairs Manager at DiDi Egypt, and Ahmed Seif, Regional Strategy Experience Senior Manager, are scheduled to participate in two panel talks during the event.

DiDi Egypt said the partnership aligns with its broader focus on supporting entrepreneurship, digital transformation and sustainable mobility in Egypt. The company will also provide promotional ride discounts for summit attendees travelling to and from the Grand Egyptian Museum during the event.

“Mobility plays an important role in connecting people to opportunity,” Helmy said, noting that the company aims to contribute to discussions on how technology can support communities and emerging businesses.

RiseUp Summit has become a key annual gathering for entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers in the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on startups, innovation and the future of work.
