Toure joined Pyramids in January 2022 and established himself as one of the Egyptian league’s standout foreign players, delivering a series of strong performances over four seasons.

He played a key role in the club’s most successful period, helping Pyramids win the African-Asian-Pacific Cup, the CAF Champions League, the CAF Super Cup and the Egypt Cup.

The 31-year-old has earned 60 international caps for Burkina Faso and was part of the national team squads at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Pyramids have moved quickly to strengthen their squad during the winter transfer window, signing four players including Palestinian midfielder Hamed Hemdan, who could be among the options to replace Toure.

Ahly Tripoli are coached by former Egypt and Ahly manager Hossam El-Badri.
