"I am looking forward to seeing Ahly’s great fans at the stadium tomorrow to support us," the 55-year-old Danish tactician told a pre-match news conference on Saturday.

The Egyptian champions have been granted full-capacity attendance for the match.

Ahly have already secured a place in the quarter-finals and lead the group with nine points, one ahead of AS FAR.

"We have already qualified for the quarter-finals, but our target is to win every game," Thorup said.

"We know the match against AS FAR will be difficult, as the Moroccan side need a win," he added.

Ahly are unbeaten in the group stage, recording two wins and three draws from five matches, and will aim to maintain that record to ensure they finish top.

Tanzania’s Young Africans S.C. are third with five points, while Algeria’s JS Kabylie sit bottom on three and have been eliminated.
