Already qualified, Ahly progressed as Group leaders with ten points, one ahead of the Moroccan side.
Tanzanian side Young Africans, who beat JSK 3-0 earlier in the day, were eliminated on eight points, while the Algerian side finished bottom of the group with three.
Ahly dominated the first half, with Tunisian midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane squandering three clear chances.
The goalkeeper denied him from close range in the fifth minute and again kept out a powerful effort from outside the area in the 17th.
A back pass from Taher Mohamed found the Tunisian unmarked, but his shot was cleared by an FAR defender.
Taher also had an opportunity of his own, firing over the bar.
Ahly were less incisive after the break but remained in control.
Their attempts were comfortably dealt with by the Moroccan defense and goalkeeper, who appeared content with a point that secured progression.
Midfielder Emam Ashour made his return on the hour mark after serving a two-week suspension.
Winger Achraf Bencharki tried his luck from the left in the 70th minute, but his curling effort sailed over.
The clearest opening came in the 86th minute when Portuguese striker Ieltsin Camões, introduced in the 75th, failed to connect with Mohamed Hani’s cross with the goal at his mercy.
Neither side created further chances as both booked their place in the last eight.
Ahly will learn their quarter-final opponents at Tuesday’s draw in Cairo, where they could face Espérance Sportive de Tunis, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa or fellow Moroccan side RS Berkane.
