The Port Said club were paired in Quarter-final 1 during the ceremony, which mapped out both the last-eight ties and the semi-final pathway, potentially setting up an all-Egyptian showdown should Masry and Zamalek both progress.

The first legs of the quarter-finals will be played between 13 and 15 March, with the return fixtures scheduled for 20 to 22 March.

Masry advanced to the knockout stage after finishing second in their group with 10 points, securing one of Egypt’s two places in the last eight of Africa’s second-tier club competition.

Under the semi-final draw, the winner of Masry’s tie against CR Belouizdad will meet the winner of the quarter-final between AS Otohô of Congo and Zamalek.

An Egyptian semi-final remains a possibility if both Masry and Zamalek overcome their respective opponents.
