The official National News Agency said "an Israeli drone" targeted a neighbourhood of the Ain al-Helweh camp, which is located on the outskirts of the southern city of Sidon.

Israel has kept up strikes on Lebanon despite a 2024 ceasefire that sought to halt more than a year of Israeli war on Lebanon, which killed more than 4,000 Lebanese.

A November 2024 ceasefire was supposed to end the violence, but Israel has kept up regular attacks in Lebanon.

More than 370 people have been killed in Israeli strikes since the ceasefire took effect, per an AFP tally of Lebanese health ministry figures.
