Led by the Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA), the campaign highlights the unique atmosphere of Ramadan in Egypt, from the calm spirituality of historic mosques during the day to the lively streets, Ramadan tents, and cultural events that fill the nights.
The campaign aims to attract Arab travellers who traditionally choose Egypt for their Eid holidays, while also appealing to international visitors seeking rich cultural and historical experiences, ETA CEO Ahmed Youssef said.
As part of its digital efforts, the campaign is being promoted on major global travel platforms, including Expedia, Wego, and TripAdvisor, to ensure strong visibility throughout the booking process and increase online engagement and reservations.
Suzanne Mostafa, head of the Central Administration for Tourism Marketing, said the campaign also relies heavily on social media platforms such as Meta, Google, and TikTok, and includes cooperation with bloggers, influencers, and content creators.
The initiative also features targeted advertising through leading Arab media outlets and television channels to expand its reach in key markets and strengthen Egypt’s image as a top destination during Ramadan and Eid.
