“We decided that the technical teams would start technical studies at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna on Monday, with the help of experts from that organisation,” Araghchi told state television following a third round of talks between the two sides in Geneva.

Araghchi emphasized that the discussions had touched on key elements of a potential agreement, including nuclear-related issues and sanctions relief. He described the tone of the talks as serious and constructive.

Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi confirmed Thursday that the third round of negotiations had concluded and that technical discussions would take place next week in Vienna.

An Iranian official also told Al Jazeera that the atmosphere of the negotiations with the United States was positive. The official expressed confidence that the chances of success remain high, provided that neither side is pushed toward confrontation.

Araghchi indicated that further talks between Iran and the United States would follow next week after the technical discussions, continuing efforts to address the ongoing nuclear and diplomatic issues.
