According to a WAFA correspondent, Israeli forces opened fire at Maher Harb Sammour, 43, east of Khan Younis, resulting in his murder.

The incident marks the latest breach of the ceasefire agreement in the war-ridden region that has been in effect since October 11, 2025.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,117, and 171,801 others were wounded since the start of the offensive on October 7, 2023, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, which the UN considered reliable.

The same source indicated that the total number of slain people since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 633, and the total number of wounded to 1,703, while 753 bodies have been recovered.
