The program includes 142 diverse events in North Sinai, a region dubbed the Capital of Egyptian Culture. The activities complement a wider network of events organised across cultural venues throughout the country.
For the fifth consecutive day, the mobile theater at Al-Masaeed District Park hosted a variety of artistic performances and entertainment segments presented by the Talents Ensemble, led by artist Medhat Naguib.
The programme included a selection of well-known Ramadan songs such as Ramadan in Egypt Is Something Else, Ahlan Ramadan, and Ramadan Arrived.
The performances received enthusiastic interaction from the audience, especially the puppet theater performances prepared by Medhat Naguib.
Artistic activities also continued on the mobile stage with a face-painting workshop for children led by artist Salwa Beraei. Meanwhile, a beaded medal-making workshop, led by Dina Mohsen, allowed the young participants to create handmade medals.
As part of the ongoing activities supervised by the Canal and Sinai Cultural Region, the Arish Culture Palace continued hosting a macramé workshop. Trainer Shahd Samir explained that macramé is a handcraft based on various knotting techniques and the tying of cords into balanced and harmonious patterns. She noted that it is an artistic system built on the diversity and precision of knots. During the workshop, participants created decorative hangings using the square knot technique.
Meanwhile, the Qatiya Culture House hosted a lecture titled Ramadan and Good Deeds, in which activity coordinator Abdel Aziz Abou Jrir spoke about the virtues of performing good deeds during the holy month.
The Al-Nagah Cultural Library also held a lecture titled The Virtue of the Last Ten Days of Ramadan, presented by activity coordinator Ayman Rashid.
Additionally, Al-Salam Suburb Library organized a handicrafts workshop titled The Art of Beads, led by Dina Mohsen, where participants designed a Ramadan lantern using a hexagonal lantern pattern.
The Al-Obour Library hosted a visual arts workshop titled Drawings of the Crescent and the Ramadan Lantern, with participants creating paintings that express the spirit and symbols of the holy month.
These activities are part of a comprehensive programme aiming to celebrate the holy month.
