In a statement, the ERC, the national coordination body for aid delivery to Gaza, said the Egyptian convoy carried comprehensive assistance to residents in the strip, including food, winter, medical, and relief supplies.

The convoy, launched under the “Zad Al-Ezza… From Egypt to Gaza” initiative, carries essential winter supplies to alleviate freezing weather conditions in the Strip, including 3,640 clothing items, 18,950 blankets, 13,200 mats, 3,455 tarpaulins, and 1,650 tents.

It also carried 1,650 tonnes of food parcels and flour, 350 tonnes of medicines, medical, and relief supplies, and 1,350 tonnes of fuel to keep hospitals and vital facilities operating in Gaza.

The ERC’s convoy comes as part of Egypt’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people amidst the brutal Israeli aggression that killed and injured over 250,000 civilians.
