The convoy included 78,600 food parcels, 65 tons of flour, 7,400 tons of relief supplies and hygiene items, and 1,140 tons of fuel to support hospitals and other vital facilities in Gaza, the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC), national coordination body for Gaza aid delivery, said.

Launched under the Zad Al-Ezza: From Egypt to Gaza initiative, the convoy also carried essential winter materials, including clothing, blankets, and tents, to help residents cope with harsh weather conditions, the ERC added.

The dispatch reflects Egypt’s steadfast commitment to supporting the Palestinian people amid the ongoing brutal Israeli war on Gaza.

Since October 2023, Cairo has delivered more than 800,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza, accounting for nearly 70 percent of all aid delivered to the strip, supported by the efforts of over 65,000 ERC volunteers.

Meanwhile, Israel has continued its genocidal war on Gaza, violating the ceasefire deal brokered by Egypt, the US, Qatar, and Turkey in October 2025.

This war has killed more than 72,239 Palestinians and wounded over 171,860 others, most of them women and children.
