The Foreign Minister's participation reflects Egypt's commitment to advancing joint coordination with brotherly and friendly nations to formulate a unified approach to current challenges, according to a foreign ministry statement.

The meeting aims to discuss ways to address the dangerous military escalation in the region and the efforts being made to de-escalate tensions, as well as to discuss the future of the region and the necessary regional arrangements to ensure the restoration of stability, safeguard national security, and prevent the region from descending into widespread chaos.

FM Abdelatty had toured Arab Gulf countries and Jordan earlier in the week to stress Cairo's solidarity with these nations in the face of Tehran attacks on their territories amid the US-Israel war on Iran.
