El-Molla said Al-Nas is one of the largest medical centres in Africa and the Middle East, offering free treatment for heart disease, gastrointestinal conditions, diabetes, and burns. Fully funded by donations, the hospital has 600 beds, including 140 intensive care units. Children make up about 70 percent of patients, and the hospital also treats some patients from Gaza.

Mutlu Şen toured the burns unit, cardiac catheterization department, operating rooms, and pediatric cardiology services. He also observed part of an ongoing heart surgery. The ambassador later interacted with young patients, giving gifts for Laylat Al-Qadr and wishing them a speedy recovery.
