The two leaders discussed ongoing developments in the region and stressed the need to reduce tensions and restore stability, the Egyptian presidency said.

El-Sisi reviewed the outcomes of his recent Gulf tour and reaffirmed Egypt’s position, condemning attacks on Arab states and stressing the importance of respecting their sovereignty, following a recent round of regional consultations.

According to the Jordanian royal court, King Abdullah warned against using the current conflicts as a pretext to impose new realities in Jerusalem, the occupied West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.

The call also touched on bilateral ties, with both leaders highlighting continued cooperation across sectors amid regional uncertainty.

During the call, King Abdullah II extended Eid Al-Fitr greetings to President El-Sisi, wishing prosperity and blessings for the Egyptian and Jordanian peoples, as well as the wider Arab and Islamic nations. El-Sisi expressed appreciation for the gesture and reciprocated the greetings, wishing Jordan continued stability and prosperity.
