The change touched only the first and second rounds of the “Big Seven” phase, while the remaining matchdays remain as previously scheduled.

According to the revised fixture list, Zamalek will open their campaign against Masry on 6 April at Alexandria’s Borg El Arab Stadium.

Ahly will face Ceramica Cleopatra at the Arab Contractors Stadium a day later.

ENPPI and Smouha will also meet on 7 April, while Pyramids FC are exempt from the opening round.

Pyramids FC will face Zamalek on 23 April at Cairo Stadium before hosting Ahly at the Air Defence Stadium four days later.

Under the league’s current format, the top seven teams advance to a mini-league to determine the champion, while the remaining 14 sides compete separately to decide the four relegation places.

The final phase of the seven-team competition is scheduled to conclude on 20 May.

Zamalek and Pyramids FC, both on 43 points, along with Ahly (40), Ceramica Cleopatra (38), Masry (33), Smouha (31) and ENPPI (30), have secured their places in the final round.
