Gas supply was restored on Monday after being cut in parts of Tehran following an attack on gas infrastructure at a university in the city, state television reported.
The strike, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, hit a gas pressure reduction station and metering facilities at Sharif University of Technology, causing a leak.
"The attack did not result in a fire, and in less than half an hour, the gas leak was completely fixed," state broadcaster IRIB said.
It said the problem had been "resolved" and gas supply had resumed for residents in affected parts of Tehran.
The attack also hit the university's data centre, which houses an artificial intelligence facility, according to the Fars news agency.
Iranian media carried footage showing extensive damage at the site, with twisted metal, debris and damaged structures across the area.
All students have left the campus because of the war.
Monday's attack also disrupted online learning for the university, Mohammed Vesal, an economics professor, told the Associated Press.
“All web services of the university are down now because of this violent attack on our infrastructure,” Vesal said. “This is a purely academic institution.”
Sharif University of Technology is considered Iran’s top engineering school.
A strike struck a residential building near Eslamshar, southwest of Tehran, killing at least 15 people, the Fars news agency reported.
Five others were killed when a residential area in the city of Qom was hit, and six more were killed in strikes on other cities, the state-run IRAN daily newspaper reported.
Three more people were killed when an airstrike hit a home in Tehran, Iranian state television reported.
More than 1,900 people have been killed in Iran since the US-Israeli war on the country began, but its government has not updated the toll for days.
