In a statement, the directorate detailed the distribution of casualties across several regions, with Beirut recording the highest toll at 92 killed and 742 injured.
In Beirut’s southern suburbs, 61 people were killed and 200 wounded, while the eastern city of Baalbek reported 18 deaths and 28 injuries. In Hermel, nine people were killed, and six were injured.
Southern Lebanon also witnessed significant casualties. Nabatieh recorded 28 deaths and 59 injuries, while the Tyre district reported 17 killed and 68 wounded. In Sidon, 12 people were killed, and 56 were injured.
Meanwhile, the Aley district in Mount Lebanon saw 17 fatalities and six injuries.
The civil defence said the figures were based on verified field data, noting that rescue operations and assessments were ongoing, suggesting the toll could rise further.
The escalation comes amid continued Israeli strikes across multiple Lebanese areas, intensifying concerns over a widening conflict and mounting humanitarian toll.
