EgyptAir announced the gradual resumption of flights to several destinations in the Middle East, following recent disruptions caused by escalating regional tensions.

In an official statement, the national carrier said it has restarted operations to key Gulf and regional cities, including Sharjah, Dubai, and Riyadh, with one daily flight to each destination. Services to Abu Dhabi, Dammam, and Amman have also resumed at a higher frequency, with two daily flights now operating.

The airline added that, starting Tuesday, 14 April, it will operate one daily flight to both Erbil and Baghdad in Iraq, signalling a broader return to normal operations across affected routes.

EgyptAir noted that flights to Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Lebanon remain subject to regulatory approvals, which are currently being coordinated with the relevant authorities. Updated schedules will be announced once approvals are secured.

The carrier emphasized that it continues to closely monitor developments in the region and adjust its operations accordingly to ensure passenger safety and service continuity.
