The dead include 13 personnel from Lebanon State Security Agency, the country’s official news agency NNA said.
A correspondent for Press TV reported that several sites were hit in the strikes, which caused significant casualties and damage across the city.
These attacks come ahead of the anticipated US-Iran talks to be held in Pakistan, as Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon continue to act as a spoiler of any potential diplomatic resolution to the conflict.
Pakistan, the chief mediator of the current ceasefire in the US-Israeli war on Iran, and Iran maintain that a ceasefire in Lebanon has always been an integral part of the deal.
The United States and Israel claim that it is not.
This is the second wave of deadly Israeli attacks on Lebanon since the announcement of a ceasefire in the US-Israeli war on Iran.
The Israeli strikes across Lebanon on Wednesday have killed at least 300 people, including 33 children and four soldiers and wounded more than 1,150 Lebanese in less than 24 hours, sparking international outrage and jeopardising a fragile two-week US-Iran ceasefire.
In response, Hezbollah launched rockets from Lebanon on several sites in northern Israel and targeted a naval military base in the port of Ashdod.
Meanwhile, Iran's parliament speaker on Friday set a ceasefire in Lebanon and the "release of Iran's blocked assets" as pre-conditions for the start of negotiations with the United States, as President Donald Trump said that US warships are being reloaded with weaponry to strike Iran if talks in Pakistan fail to produce a deal, in an interview with the New York Post.
US Vice President JD Vance heads to Islamabad departed to Islamabad for talks with an Iranian delegation set to be head by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
