Egyptians can expect chilly mornings giving way to hot afternoons across the northern coasts, the Nile Delta, and Greater Cairo, with conditions turning extremely hot in Upper Egypt.
Nights will remain relatively cool throughout the week, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said in its weekly bulletin released on Saturday.
The EMA also warned of morning fog between 4 and 9am along key roads connecting the northern coastal regions, the Delta, Greater Cairo, Canal cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.
It urged motorists to exercise caution during early morning commutes.
Authorities flagged active wind activity throughout the entire forecast period, warning that gusts could stir up sand and dust along the far western coastal areas in intermittent bursts.
Temperatures are expected to peak mid-to-late week, with southern Upper Egypt seeing highs of up to 37°C by Thursday and Friday.
The northern coasts remain comparatively milder, reaching 26–33°C.
Overnight lows will stay in the 15–23°C range nationwide.
