The move is part of efforts to strengthen long-standing ties between the two countries and facilitate travel, visits, and longer-term stays for Algerians in Egypt, which the embassy described as their “second home.”
Under the new scheme, Algerian nationals will be able to enter and exit Egypt multiple times over a five-year validity period, with each stay capped at six months.
The embassy said the initiative reflects the “distinguished bilateral relations” between Egypt and Algeria across political, economic, and cultural spheres, and aims to deepen people-to-people connections.
It encouraged applicants to visit the embassy or contact its official platforms for details on required documents and application procedures.
