The Whites secured a 1-0 victory last Friday at Mandela National Stadium, putting them in the driving seat for a place in the final.
Zamalek welcome back Moroccan left-back Mahmoud Bentayg, who missed the first leg, along with veteran defender Mahmoud Hamdi “El-Wensh,” who returns after a muscle injury that kept him out of the quarter-finals.
Angolan winger Chico Banza is out with a knee injury sustained during last week’s league win over Masry.
Despite the 1-0 lead, Zamalek coach Motamed Gamal said his team’s mission to reach the Confederation Cup final is not over, describing the first-leg win as only part of the job.
“The game was difficult for both teams, as I expected. CR Belouizdad are a strong opponent with prominent players. However, Zamalek made the best use of their experience, dominated most of the game, and achieved the target,” Gamal said after the match.
“We have only finished the first half, while the second, and most important, awaits us in Egypt. We hope to be successful and reach the final,” the 52-year-old added.
CR Belouizdad, meanwhile, have struggled in the Algerian Ligue 1 this season, sitting fifth with 38 points, 14 behind leaders MC Alger.
The Algerian side will be without veteran defender Chouaib Keddad, who underwent knee surgery last week.
Zamalek have been in strong form domestically and continentally, leading the Egyptian Premier League with 46 points, six ahead of second-placed Pyramids FC.
They are also the only Egyptian side remaining in African competitions following the elimination of Masry from the Confederation Cup and both Pyramids FC and Ahly from the CAF Champions League.
