City are second in the standings on 64 points, six behind leaders Arsenal, who have played one game more.
“We have to beat Arsenal to keep our chances of winning the Premier League title alive,” Marmoush said in a video published on the club’s Instagram account.
City beat Arsenal in last month’s League Cup final, but Marmoush expects a different challenge this weekend.
“The league game against Arsenal will be completely different from the League Cup final, and we are looking to perform strongly in the remaining Premier League matches to secure victories,” he added.
Marmoush, who joined City in 2025, has established himself as a key player, scoring 14 goals in 54 appearances across all competitions.
This season, he has scored six goals in 29 appearances.
The 27-year-old Egypt international also played a key role in helping his country qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals.
“It’s a big moment for me to take part in the World Cup finals,” Marmoush said.
Egypt will face Iran, Belgium and New Zealand in Group G.
“We will fight hard at the World Cup, but we must be consistent as we will face strong national teams. Our target is to reach the knockout stage and represent Egypt well in the tournament,” he added.
