The Ministry of Health and Population said the Healthy Life Clinic in Nasr City was closed and sealed in coordination with regulators and police after officials discovered it was operating without a licence, in breach of laws governing private medical facilities.
Inspectors also seized large quantities of unregistered and unidentified medicines and cosmetic products that had not been approved by the Egyptian Drug Authority, the ministry said.
Further violations included the absence of a contract for hazardous medical waste disposal and serious lapses in infection control measures, which officials said posed a direct risk to public health.
Hesham Zaki, head of the Central Administration for Non-Governmental Medical Facilities and Licensing, said a report documenting the violations had been filed and referred to the public prosecution.
The ministry warned the public against relying on medical advertisements on social media, urging patients to verify that clinics and practitioners are properly licensed before undergoing treatment or cosmetic procedures.
