According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, hospitals across Gaza received six bodies and 18 wounded people in the past 24 hours alone, underscoring the continued toll of hostilities.
Medical officials said that since a ceasefire took effect on 11 October, at least 791 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,235 injured. In addition, 761 bodies have been recovered during that period, while thousands more are believed to remain trapped under collapsed buildings or lying in areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
In a statement issued today, Hamas condemned "the criminal Zionist occupation army's continued crimes against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip."
The group said an Israeli attack on a civilian vehicle in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp earlier in the day killed three people. Similarly, a separate overnight strike in northern Gaza left five dead, including three children.
Hamas said the incidents constituted a " criminal escalation that reflects a continuation of the genocide and an undermining of efforts to implement the obligations of the ceasefire agreement."
Separately, WAFA reported that a Palestinian man, identified as Yahya Abu Shalhoub, was killed and three others were injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a slaughterhouse area south of Khan Younis on Thursday morning.
Despite a 10 October ceasefire, Gaza remains gripped by daily violence as Israel's occupation army continues to break the truce.
A fragile truce has largely halted the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza that began in October 2023.
Teen killed in Nablus during Israeli incursion
In the occupied West Bank, a 15-year-old Palestinian boy was shot and killed by Israeli forces during an ongoing military incursion into Nablus, WAFA reported.
According to WAFA, the teenager was critically wounded after being struck by live ammunition in the shoulder when Israeli forces stormed the Rafidia neighbourhood and opened fire in the Beit Wazan area to the west of the city.
The boy was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, the report said.
Israel has illegally occupied the West Bank since 1967, and violence there has risen sharply since the war on Gaza began on 7 October 2023.
According to an AFP tally based on Palestinian health ministry figures, Israeli troops or settlers have killed at least 1,065 Palestinians in the West Bank since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza in October 2023.
