The meeting was attended by Minister of Defense and Military Production Ashraf Salem Zahir, Presidential Adviser for Urban Planning Amir Sayed Ahmed, Presidential Adviser for Financial Affairs Ahmed El-Shazly, Chairman of the National Authority for Management and Investment Mahmoud Rizk, and CEO of Tatweer Misr Ahmed Shalaby.
According to Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El-Shennawy, the discussions focused on the city’s executive status and ongoing projects.
El-Sisi emphasized the importance of completing projects in line with the highest international standards and within set timelines, underscoring the state’s vision of establishing an integrated global economic system in the area.
Located along the Red Sea coast, Galala City is envisioned as a key gateway for investment and tourism.
The president highlighted the need to capitalize on the site’s strategic location to boost economic growth, create job opportunities, and support comprehensive regional development.
He also reviewed the master plan for the second phase of the Monta Galala project and approved the general framework for its implementation in partnership with the private sector.
Additionally, El-Sisi directed adjustments to the Ain Sokhna–Zafarana Road to reduce traffic accidents.
He also called for the construction of beachfront residential towers, floating marinas, a service marina, and hotels incorporating economic, medical, and educational activities to attract international companies and position the area as a global trade hub.
The president also stressed the importance of developing an integrated residential zone for city workers, complete with housing, schools, and essential services.
