EgyptAir to operate three daily flights to Riyadh starting May

Egypt’s national carrier, EgyptAir, announced it will operate three daily flights from Cairo International Airport to Riyadh starting 1 May 2026, as part of a broader expansion of services to Gulf and regional destinations amid a gradual resumption of operations.

The airline will also launch three weekly flights between Alexandria and Riyadh beginning on 10 May. It noted that it is studying the possibility of increasing frequencies to the Saudi capital based on demand and operational capacity.

In a related move, EgyptAir will operate one daily flight to Doha and two daily flights to Beirut starting 28 April 2026.

Flights to Bahrain and Kuwait will remain suspended pending decisions by the relevant civil aviation authorities in both countries.

Travellers can review bookings and make inquiries through EgyptAir’s call centre, official website, or by visiting the nearest sales office or authorized travel agent.
