SCZone Chairman Waleid Gamal El-Dien attended the signing on Tuesday.

The project is expected to attract more than $150 million in additional industrial investment and create about 5,000 direct jobs and over 7,000 indirect positions.

The project will be carried out in two phases over as long as six years on a total area of 500,000 square metres, split evenly between both stages.

The first phase will focus on infrastructure and utilities, including 25 megawatts of power capacity, alongside the construction of half of the industrial units, with operations set to begin in the second year.

The second phase will include logistics and service expansions, as well as the completion of the remaining project components.

The complex is designed as a turnkey model based on an integrated industrial ecosystem, allowing production to begin within 90 days through fully equipped units.

Plans also include a logistics zone with warehouses and a distribution centre, in addition to administrative and commercial facilities, including business hubs and co-working spaces.

The project will also include a digital management centre and a service and leisure area featuring a business hotel, a restaurant complex, a business club, and fitness facilities.

It is designed to attract a range of industries, including engineering and light electronics, food and agro-processing, packaging, light chemicals, automotive components, and household appliances.

Additionally, it will incorporate e-commerce and logistics activities, supporting efforts to diversify the industrial base and deepen supply chain integration.

According to SCZone, the project will offer flexible contracting models, including long- and short-term leases, financial leasing, and commission-based management.

SCZone chairman said the zone has become an attractive industrial and logistical platform for investments, highlighting its strategic integration with Sokhna Port and its prime location on global trade routes.

He added that its location strengthens its role in advancing the state’s industrial localization strategy, boosting exports, and reinforcing global supply chains.
