According to a statement, prosecutors have heard testimony from complainants and victims.
Three of the victims reported being sexually assaulted in separate incidents between 2022 and 2025, including at the premises of an unlicensed non-profit organization in Garden City, Cairo. A fourth victim said she was assaulted in a separate incident in 2017.
The victims stated they had approached the suspect seeking psychological support and recovery from difficult social and personal circumstances, including domestic violence, which he allegedly exploited to commit the assaults.
Prosecutors also heard testimony from an employee at the location where some of the incidents allegedly occurred. The witness said the suspect would, on multiple occasions, ask him to leave work early or arrive late, enabling him to commit the alleged acts.
The suspect was questioned and admitted to committing some of the incidents, according to the statement. Authorities have also examined his mobile phone and electronic devices, and ordered police investigations and reports from the anti-human trafficking unit to be included in the case file. Investigations are ongoing.
The Public Prosecution said it is investigating the accusations with strict confidentiality to protect the privacy and safety of victims and witnesses, in line with Article 113 bis of the Criminal Procedures Law.
It urged the public not to publish or circulate any information that could reveal the identities of victims or witnesses, warning that legal action would be taken against violators.
Prosecutors have ordered the suspect’s pretrial detention pending further investigation, following initial evidence and testimonies, including partial confessions.
