The national carrier said flights to Sharjah will operate once daily, while flights to Bahrain will operate five times a week.

The move comes in light of Egypt's ongoing coordination with civil aviation authorities in several Gulf cities, as part of a gradual plan to restore flight operations in line with current regional conditions.

EgyptAir added that customers can review their bookings and respond to inquiries by contacting its call centre at 1717 from any mobile phone within Egypt, or via the landline number 090070000, or the international number +97142306666.

The resumption of EgyptAir flights comes amid regional disruptions to aviation caused by conflicts that began in late February following US–Israeli strikes on Iran and Iran's retaliation against US-linked targets in parts of the Gulf, with effects continuing intermittently over the past two months.
