Much of the country will see hot conditions, while Upper Egypt will face extremely hot weather, the EMA said in its weekly bulletin.
High temperatures will persist across most regions on Friday and Saturday, with mercury hovering between 32°C and 39°C nationwide, according to an EMA forecast.
Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta are set to see highs of 32°C during this period, while southern Upper Egypt could see temperatures peak at 39°C on Saturday.
Dense morning fog between 4 am and 8 am is expected on roads leading to Greater Cairo and the northern coasts, the EMA warned.
Wind activity may also stir up sand and dust in South Sinai and the Western Desert on Friday, with these conditions spreading to most of the country by Saturday.
Intermittent rain of varying intensity is possible across the northern parts of the country on Saturday, the EMA added.
Temperatures are expected to drop by 6°C to 7°C on Sunday across northern Egypt, Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt. By Tuesday, highs in Cairo are expected to settle at 25°C, while the northern coast will see temperatures fall to 20°C.
