The programme reflects the group’s ongoing commitment to investing in young talent and strengthening the region’s public affairs ecosystem. It is designed to provide one outstanding graduate each year with full tuition coverage for a one-year postgraduate degree at an accredited institution.
Eligible fields of study include public policy, political science, economics, strategic communications, and international affairs, among other closely related disciplines. These areas align with M&P’s core areas of expertise and its work across the region.
Ambassador Sherif El Bidewy, CEO of M&P, said the initiative underscores the firm’s belief in empowering young professionals capable of contributing meaningfully to public service and policy development.
“This initiative reflects our firm belief in empowering talented young individuals who can contribute meaningfully to public service, enhance institutional effectiveness, and help shape more impactful and sustainable policies,” El Bidewy said. “Through this program, we aim to support a new generation equipped with the ambition, intellect, and determination to make a real difference in their communities.”
The scholarship is open to bachelor’s degree holders who demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a clear commitment to public service and civic responsibility. Applicants with relevant academic or professional experience in public policy and strategic communications are particularly encouraged to apply.
The selection process will be merit-based and multi-staged, beginning with an initial review of applications, followed by a written assessment to evaluate candidates’ analytical and strategic thinking skills. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to final in-person interviews with members of the Group’s board and senior leadership team.
Applications opened in late April and will remain open until 15 June 2026. The written assessment is scheduled for late June, with final interviews expected in mid-July. The first scholarship recipient will be announced on 1 August 2026.
