Cameroon suffered a surprising 1-0 defeat by minnows Tanzania in a friendly game on Wednesday in Dar es Salaam.

A goal from TP Mazembe's striker Mbwana Ally Samata one minute from time proved to be the winner.

Cameroon, who missed the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, are preparing for their upcoming game against Togo in the World Cup qualifiers, which will be played in March.

The Indomitable Lions are third in Group I with three points, just one behind leaders Libya.
