The Lebanese musician, Marcel Khalife, makes a strong statement condemning violence upon protesters by refusing, regretfully, to perform in the Bahrain Spring Festival.
He reaches out to Arabs, expressing his deep sorrow for the atrocities and bloodshed by Arab tyrants and says he feels obligated to show his outrage.
Khalife describes the situation in Libya, Bahrain and Yemen as “tragic;” and “epic” in the victories of Tunisia and Egypt, confirming his involvement on a humanitarian level.
